Shakira to headline Offlimits 2026 in Abu Dhabi
Music festival set for April 4 at Etihad Park, Yas Island
ABU DHABI – Shakira has been confirmed as the headline act for the second edition of the Offlimits Music Festival, set to return to Abu Dhabi in April.
The Colombian singer will bring her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to Etihad Park, Yas Island, on April 4, marking her fourth performance in the UAE. Fans can expect a full-day, multi-stage, open-format festival featuring music, art, and immersive visual experiences.
Offlimits Music Festival 2026
The festival, which debuted in 2025 with Ed Sheeran as its headliner, quickly established itself as the UAE’s largest genre-blending music event. This year, organisers promise an even bigger experience, with additional global and regional acts to be announced in the coming months.
Offlimits thrives on variety, combining multiple stages, visual design, art, and cultural experiences. The festival’s setup ensures attendees can explore diverse performances throughout the day, making it far more than a conventional concert. Last year’s edition included acts such as OneRepublic, Kaiser Chiefs, Faithless, ARTBAT, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and Zeyne, offering an eclectic mix of sounds and performances.
Etihad Park, formerly du Arena, provides a large outdoor venue capable of accommodating tens of thousands of fans, and last year’s festival demonstrated how sophisticated staging, sky-scraping LED screens, and live visual feeds can enhance the overall atmosphere.
Shakira returns to UAE
Shakira is no stranger to the UAE. She first performed at Dubai Autodrome in 2007, followed by a New Year’s Eve concert at Emirates Palace in 2008, and a show at du Arena (now Etihad Park) in 2011. Known for blending pop, rock, and Latin influences, Shakira has sold over 95 million records worldwide, won four Grammy Awards and fifteen Latin Grammys, and is the most-streamed female Latin artist globally.
Her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour, launched in 2024, features her latest album of the same name and continues to highlight her energetic stage presence. Songs like Zoo, featured in Zootopia 2 (2025), and long-time hits such as Hips Don’t Lie and Waka Waka promise a vibrant, hit-packed performance.
Tickets and access
Tickets for Offlimits 2026 go on sale on Saturday, January 24, at 11am UAE time. Prices start from Dh595 and will be available exclusively through the festival’s ticketing platform. Fans are encouraged to secure tickets early, as Shakira’s performances in the UAE have historically sold out rapidly.
